Free Practise:
In the
free practise session on the very demanding track of
Spa-Francorchamps all Kaufmann Drivers tried to set up their car
properly for the races and weren´t looking for toe on the long
straights to get a very fast practise time. In the end Robin Frijns
was 10th, Kazeem Manzur 13th and Facu Regalia 14th.
Qualifying:
In Qualifying
Kazeem Manzur could only do half of the session, because a broken
ECU made some problems. Finally Manzur only qualified on P 10 for
both races. Also Robin Frijns and Facu Regalia were struggleing a
bit not finding the right toe for the fastest laps. Frijns qualified
on P 7 and P 14, Facu Regalia made it on P 12 and P 11. Overall a
disappointing qualifying result for the whole Team.
Race 1:
In the first race Kazzem Manzur had to give up in the formation Lap.
His car suffered from a electronical problem which caused him to
stop even before the start. Facu Regalia and Robin Frijns, both
drove strong races. Facu Regalia was able to move himself up to P 7
at the end of the race. Robin Frijns also drove a strong and smart
race. With fast lap times he overtook some of the other drivers and
finally found himself on P 3. In the end he finished again on the
podium taking 3 rd Position.
Race
2:
Facu Regalia had
the best start of the Kaufmann Drivers and moved up to P 9 in the
first lap. Later on Regalia was able to catch some more drivers and
finished like the day before on P 7. Kazeem Manzur and Robin Frijns
had some problems in the first hairpin corner and both dropped back
to P 16 and P 17 in the first lap. Kazeem Manzur had some difficult
overtaking moves and wasn´t able to find his race rythym. Manzur
only finished on P 15. Frijns instead was again very fast. Putting
one fastest race lap after the other the young dutch moved up the
listings lap by lap. Finally Frijns found himself on P 5. After a
strong race performance Frijns finished the race on P 5. |
