to young
British driver
Kazeem Manzur,
who already raced one year with the team of Josef Kaufmann, two new drivers
will join the team for
the 2009
Formula BMW Europe Season.
17-year old
Spanish driver Facu Regalia who finished 10th in the 2008 Formula
BMW World Final at Mexico for the Team of Josef Kaufmann will do his
second season in the Formula BMW Europe this year.
The
Rookie driver in the team of Josef Kaufmann will be
Robin Frijns.
The 17 year old
Belgian was very successful in Karting over the past years. Frijns
was two times Vice Champion in Belgian ICA Junior 2005/2006,
Champion of FFSA French ICA Junior Karting Championship in 2006,
Vice Champion in French FFSA KF2 Championship 2008 and he also
scored a superb 3rd Place at the CIK FIA European KF2 Championship
in 2008. Frijns will compete as BMW supported Junior his first year
in single seaters.
The 2009 Formula
BMW Europe Season will start with the first official test days at
Barcelona on 02. - 03. March. |
