the new circuit. Both adapted well to the situation and did the 14th
and 15th fastest laptime. Robin Frijns was directly on
the top pace, but had to stopp the free practice some minutes before
the end due to an oil leak on his engine. Up to that point he was 2nd
fastest.
Qualifying:
Robin Frijns was again
fighting for Pole Position throughout the whole qualifying session.
In the end he qualifyied 4th and 2nd. Both
Rookies could improve theire performance from the free practice and
qualified 11 – van Asseldonk and 13 – Suvanto for both races.
Race 1:
Frijns
had a very good start and moved upto P3 in the first corner. After
that he tried an overtaking move to catch P2. Unfortunaltey he
slighty missed his braking point and went a bit wide. Due to that he
dropped back to P5. Fighting his way back up to P4 Frijns was
putting constant fastest race laps to catch P3. In the end the race
was finished before he could try another overtaking move. Hannes van

with some little mistakes he unfortunately only finished on P10.
Petri Suvanto lost his car in Lap 1 during the braking into Turn 6.
He crashed his car and had to retire early. Due to that crash the
Stewards punsihed him with a Grid Penalty, and he had to start from
P16 in the Sunday Race.
Race

Frijns again had a good start, but lost a position into Turn 1.
After that he was putting pressure on the driver in front of him and
in Lap 8 he was able to show a nice overtaking move and took over
P2. After that he settled down and finished the race on P2. Hannes
van Asseldonk had a good race fighting for P8 all the time. In the
end he finished on P11. Petri Suvanto drove a clean race without any
