Stoffel Vandoorne had a good start, kept his lead and then just pulled away from the whole field. Lap by lap he was extending his lead with fastest race laps and finally won the race in a dominant way by more than a 6 seconds lead.

Race 2: Alex Riberas had a good start, but then in the first corner made som contact and bend his front wing, what forced him to make a pit stop. Pieter Schothorst had a very good start and moved up to P 3. Stoffel Vandoorne kept the lead after starting from Pole. In the 3rd lap the race was red-flagged because of an accident. After the Re-Start Pieter Schothorst was running on P 3 untill the guy behind outbreaked himself in turn 1 and crashed into the back of Schothorst. His race was immediately over. Alex Riberas finished on P 22. Stoffel Vandoorne drove a clean and constant race and was able to keep his lead untill the end. He finally also won the Sunday Race.
