JOSEF KAUFMANN RACING to compete in the Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP 2013 with the drivers Gustav Malja (SWE), Steijn Schothorst (NED) and Oscar Tunjo (COL)

Louis Delétraz (SUI) and Dennis Olsen (NOR) join JOSEF KAUFMANN RACING to compete in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Championship 2013

   

 

The Team of Josef Kaufmann Racing will compete again in the Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP in 2013 and expand its activities in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC.

After the very successful participation with winning the Championship Title back to back in 2011 and 2012, the Team of Josef Kaufmann will compete again in the Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP this year. As well the Team of Josef Kaufmann decided to participate in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC. For this demanding challenge the Team was able to sign 5 hopeful racing talents.

Gustav Malja (SWE), Steijn Schothorst (NED) and Oscar Tunjo (COL) will drive for the Team of Josef Kaufmann Racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP and some selected Race Events of the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC. Gustav Malja, Vice-Champion of the 2012 ADAC Formel Masters, will step up the category to compete for the first time in Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP. Steijn Schothorst, after participating successful in the 2012 NEC, will drive his first full EUROCUP season. Oscar Tunjo, after successful EUROCUP participation, will again compete one more year in EUROCUP and for that joins the line up of the Josef Kaufmann Racing Team.

This season, the Team of Josef Kaufmann, as usual will participate with its EUROCUP drivers in a few selected NEC events. In addition to this, the Team decided to compete as well in the full Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Championship with two promising young talents. Louis Delétraz (SUI) and Dennis Olsen (NOR) will represent the NEC Team. Louis Delétraz, after having already participated successfully in the Formula BMW Talent Cup, will take the next step in his young career. Dennis Olsen, one of the most successful european Kart Drivers of the last years, will make the transition into single seaters this year.
